Giteki checker — Japan radio certification, searchable in English
Every Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or cellular device used in Japan must hold radio-law certification (技適). This tool searches the official MIC database (351671 records) — and unlike the official site, it understands English brand names: try Anker, TP-Link or a certification number like 210-163545.
What this checks
By brand — in English
Type “Anker” and we translate it to アンカー・ジャパン before searching. The alias table covers major consumer-electronics brands and grows over time.
By model or number
Model codes and certification numbers are matched with full-width/half-width normalization, so ＡＢＣ−１２３ and ABC-123 are the same thing.
Why it matters
No 技適 mark = your customer breaks the Radio Act by switching the device on. Check before you buy stock — resellers rarely warn you.
